Thats up to you.

I dont eat more just cause I walked more. I eat when I feel I need to. Walking extra really doesnt make me hungry. Hard exercise does

Kind of, your allowance will be higher on more active days than on less active days. It isn't specifically number of steps though--it is more how much and how fast you move each minute of the day and how that balances out. Generally more steps=more activity, but there are instances where you can have a higher calorie burn on a day with relatively fewer steps. I.E. some people find they have some 12k step days that burn more than a 15k step day they had. I've seen this, and it usually has to do with how much time is sedentary in the day. So saying, yes would simplify it a little too much. But you have the right idea.

If your goal is maintaining your current weight, or even gaining weight that you would want to replenish any extra burned calories by eating.  On the other hand, if you are looking to lose weight.....

extra calories burned is not the same as extra calories one can eat.  To be a little more accurate you should sync up your fitbit to my fitness pal.  I have and have been able to steadly lose the unwanted extra pounds.  It is slow, but I am encourged by the numbers to choose what I eat more carefully.
