Insanity DVDs

So I finally took the plunge and bought these today - Amazon should deliver on Monday!  Quite excited!  I have been considering it for a couple of years, and bought the Sanity workout DVD about 3 months ago, used it 5 times and loved it!  I could not use it after my accident but redid it again yesterday and today my abs ache (in a good way!) so I have ordered the full set.  Looking forward to giving it a go!  Even if it arrives earllier than Monday I will not start until then as my 5x50 Challenge does not finish until Sunday.  I will update this post with how I do.  Starting weight 12st 10lb. 🙂

Hey! That's awesome - I completed the first month last November, and I started the program over last week! I'd love if we could help each other stay accountable throughout the program. Let me know how the fit test goes for you!

I've done Insanity a couple of times.  I really like the workouts, but I never stick it all the way to the end because I get bored!  I know, that seems weird since it's so intense, but I just like to mix it up more.  So, I incorporate insanity dvd's in with other cardio videos or jogging, and strength training.  It's a great program overall though!

hiya yes I will certainly run some days and do the workouts on others, rather than 6 days a week just Insanity.  Did Day 3 today and enjoyed that!  Thanks for the input!

I'm on Day 11! Feeling a little insane that I decided to start the program when I did (I'm in the middle of finishing my Masters thesis due next week!), but loving the workouts. I'm adding in some yoga and weights every now and then to balance out all of the cardio.

I have done up to Day 5 now, and watching more closely what I eat, I have lost 2lb this week - feel great too!  Keep going!

I liked it. In the end the effort didn't produce the results I wanted. I was not looking to lose weight at the time. Just staying fit. I felt the plyo metrics produce bulky powerful muscles that didn't look good on me.
I liked the stretching and built some flexibility.

I have better results with jillian michaels body revolution.

I just put my money down on Insanity Asylum and shelving T-25. My gym trainer keeps encouraging me to get to Anarobic Thresholds, which I need to buy what is necessary. It includes the Agility Ladder and Speed Rope to work on my cardio burn and hopefully gets higher results than the DVDs I have.

Day 6 done today, loving Insanity!  I am not doing it every day as I would miss running too much but following the system and doing the DVDs in the right order. Extremely hard work but I am buzzing now and ready for the day.
