Is arm activity somehow converted into steps "equivalents?"

Sometimes at the gym I am engaged in more arm exercises than walking on the treadmill or cycling.  Does the fit bit technology somehow convert the arm activity into "steps-equivalents?"  How does one "get credit" (if you know what I mean) for all of the arm activity/exercise using the fit-bit technology?

Hi @RMS1 ,

I think you might be referring to active minutes. If so, check out my response to a similar question here.

To be frank, Fitbit's are step-based trackers so if you want to get credit for arm-related activities, I think you should log these activities in your Dashboard.
