Hi everyone,
Wondering if anybody knew any groups on the Fitbit community that are geared towards people who need or want to gain weight. I am currently in the difficult process of recovering from an eating disorder and need to gain close to 20 pounds back...but I'm not interested in bulking. I just want healthy weight back and I basically feel like I am in that battle alone.
Thoughts from anyone?

I suggest this site: http://www.something-fishy.org
They have a chat room you can go to. They are pro-recovery. The site was recommended by the eating disorder unit at Children's Hospital in Denver. That was years ago, so use a little discretion.
If you are getting medical treatment, a nutritionist can help you with meal planning and be an accountability partner. To be effective, it's best to talk to them every two weeks. That will help with the alone feeling.
As you probably know, anorexia is often a coping mechanism for difficulties in your life. Unfortunately, qualified therapists for those with anorexia are almost impossible to find.
I read your other posts and noticed you have a dream of riding in a bicycle race. There is evidence that steady progress towards a distant goal releases serotonin and can take the place of serotonin-based drugs without the side effects. Instead of a bicycle race, consider a bicycle tour as your distant goal. Increase the distance as your weight allows. A race will release dopamine, which won't help you and can lead to exercise addiction. In your case, this would be a bad thing.
Eating differently than others can be socially isolating. Try to find something social where eating isn't the focus.
Hope something I suggested helped. You can cure this disease or at least learn to control it. It can take a long time.
