I've actually resorted to running/walking and doing stairs inside my house when I can't get outside (like this morning when the windchill is -35 degrees!)  I counted off 25 unobstructed steps from my front door to back of kitchen and just run back and forth to music for a set amount of time.  It probably sounds silly, and it certainly isn't as good as outside, but at least it's moving!

I am so thankful for my elliptical on days like today...it is  nor'easter out there... I have a 6ft snow drift in front of my doorstep! *gag*

That's what I do, too. I jog around inside my house in front of the tv.

I walk in place or around my house when the weather is nasty. Turn on some music and it can actually be really fun.

Try out Leslie Sansone's dvds! They will get you walking in your living room. I bought mine at Wal-Mart but you can watch them on YouTube for free. 🙂
