Some people walk a lot.

I have a friend who jogs the ten miles to work and back most days.

I find it pretty accurate. I think getting 10000+ steps in a day is crazy but hey it is dueable.

The kicker is people who have onsite parking against those who dont.

If you park a mile from work (or get a train at a station a mile from it) hitting ten thousand steps is easy, if you park 50m from your office, its a lot trickier

It's pretty much impossible, unless you don't stop to sleep. Some people do find ways to cheat. It's silly. You'll find most people tend to get 5,000 - 15,000 steps per day.

True.  Even at my old job, I was walking 15-20 miles per day, every day, and that still would have only been 30,000 to 40,000 steps for me.

I can see much higher step counts occasionally.  But... every day?  Not likely.

Either way - it's their issue, not mine.

I run 10,000 steps an hour

A million in a week would be a push, but I can certainly see it happening, 30,000 is my daily record, but I dont really compete about it

At 10,000 steps an hour that would be more than 14 hours a day, 7 days in a row. I am not saying it would be absolutely impossible for an extraordinary athlete to do that a few times a year, but it sure wouldn't be common, and I don't believe anyone could keep that up, or anything like that, day after day!
