Logging mixed workout of strength and cardio

I do HIIT training workouts that have a mix of exercises. They vary from fast paced cardio, to combo moves that involve push ups and planks into side planks, other combo moves that involve movement while moving arms holding dumbbells, squats, etc. It often seems like I'm not getting the stats that I should be getting for the amount of work my body puts into this workouts. I've tried tracking as workout on my Versa 3 and then changing to HIIT in the app but not sure I'm getting the right data. Interval training on the Versa 3 only works if the times for each activity are exactly the same, which is not what I'm doing.

@MeganCall it doesn't matter what you track as the intensity is measured by your HR (with exception of swimming for which HR is disabled). Your problem is most likely tied to inaccuracy in HR readings.
