Lose 20 lbs buy July 4, 2015

Anyone interested in doing this challenge. Not sure how to set  it up but I think this could be a good incentive.

I am getting married July 4th and want to get from 210 to 190 

 

Down to 206 after a week or so.

I am!  I have 20 lbs to lose by July 8th (my birthday).  That will represent 1 year retired.  It would also put me at my goal weight of 145.  I dont' know how to do it either though....

I'm walking what I can daily. I'm not a runner. Given I'll be close to my goal weight, I'm a little worried I won't lose very quickly. Still, doing my best to at least walk twice a day (preference to hit 20K steps, but 15 - 20 makes me happy. Eating heathily, lots of vegetables, protein x 3/day, limiting grains, 2 dairy. Am really keen to do this. This challenge might just be it...plus I put it out there on Facebook to friends and family to try and keep me honest. (groan).

That is good you will have motivation to stay on track. I am not sure how to track this but I am thinking it is the honor system that we are accountable for ourselves. If we don't tell the truth it is only us that it is hurting. Excuses, evreryone has, are just that - excuses.

We can do it for sure 🙂 

I would check in weekly - discuss the challenges and highs 🙂

I am not a runner either - osteoarthritis plus the patellofemoral issues don't help but I work around them 🙂

I'm in!  Just new to FitBit. Started April 3rd.  I would love to stay on track with everyone! Here's to health, joy and success!
