Low heart rate

So i brought a fitbit versa ...... now i never new how low my resting heart rate was until i got this... cor talk about making people anxious...

 

I mean its gone from low 60s in the day and 50s and night to now.... sitting down for 5 mins i have a rhr of 55-58.... and at night it can dip to 48.... freaked me out lol... i mean im nlt athlete...i have started exercising lately 3 gym classes a week but still i wont be in the olympics . i didnt know it was like this until now and i have had a lot of ecgs etc in the past so im guessing its just my norm.... anyone else noticed a low heart rate since getting the fitbit?

My resting heart rate is similar. Usually in the low 60s but occasionally high 50s. Don’t recall it ever being in the 40s. That coupled with a low average blood pressure of around 100/60 makes my doctor happy. It’s been this way all my life and I’m 61.

Mine RHR is generally 46 to 50 and Im fine. I inherited it from my mum. I'm  reasonably fit, but not athlete type fit.

@Nataliep99I'm like @NellyG inherited "health". Last night my average sleeping HR was 49... and over the 12 months my average RHR is 52.. I'm 80 this year and in my case genes have a lot to do with my good health.
