Lower inside leg pain after running first ever 10km...

Hi guys! Just wanting some advice really! Two weeks ago today I ran my first ever 10km run for charity (55 minutes, not overly fast but I was pleased) Since then I've not been able to run for longer than 5 minutes at a time (only tried treadmill running as a warm up before strength training) because my lower right inside leg starts to really hurt, the pain goes about half way up, and all the way down to my ankle. This seems to get worse rather than better. Any ideas what it could be? And advice on fixing it please! I really can't wait to get back out on a run 😥. Cheers!

hey @calumthomas.. so first congrats on your first 10K run. That is a great accomplishment. My thought is that it is a muscle pull that isn't healing because you keep using the same muscle. Aside from trying to rest, I would see if slightly increasing your potassium helps. You can either take a vitamin or eat food rich in that nutrient..
