I'm new to the fit bit. I've been hitting my target 10k steps for about a week, but yesterday just completely lost my motivation. I have a tendency to start and stop fitness trends, but really have to see this through. I don't love exercise but need to build it into my lifestyle. Does it get easier? Any advice?

Rather than focusing on your daily step count, think of your weekly count: as long as you reach your 70,000 weekly steps, it's OK to be below your daily target on a couple of days.

Also try to revise the 'all or nothing' thinking. Not hitting your goal in one day doesn't matter and shouldn't throw you off track. I struggle with it, too. Now I make my steps goal a range and if I don't even hit my weekly goal, that's ok, too. What I did in the past is out of my control. All I can do today is my best for today.

You've already gotten some good advice but I'll add: forgive yourself, and move on. Just think that every day is a fresh start, and don't judge yourself, or be disappointed if you don't hit your goal every day. If you're getting bored by walking, try hiking or running. Just keep moving. Once you make it a habit, it'll be much easier to hit your goal consistently and to stick with it.
