My charger 3 doesn't track when I am on the elippligo or treadmill why is that

Wrist-worn trackers detect steps from the normal swinging of arms while walking.

If you are holding handrail or handle, keeping wrist still, steps cannot be detected as tracker sees no movement.

If you can hold on with one arm only, steps will be detected.

Otherwise, if you put tracker in pocket or pinned to clothing, steps will usually be detected, but at the expense of heart rate data during that time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
