New to fitbit and looking to get fit!

Hi all!

I got my fitbit charge HR last week and think it will be a great tool in my mission to get fit.

Two years ago I was really into working out, running, doing bodypump and strength training at home. Sadly I got a lot to do when I moved, and I stopped working out. Due to anxiety and depression I didn't get into it again until November last year.

Now I am looking for people with similar goals to motivate eachother.

I am a 28 year old woman and live in Gothenburg Sweden. I am a software developer that also loves to write, paint and read. I have recently developed an interest in the fitness world.

My goals for this year is to run a 10k in September in under 60 minutes.

Are you looing to get fit and loose a few pounds, wanting to swap stories and to motivate each other to push that little bit extra? Add me as a friend.

Hi elindberg.

You're on the right track to getting fit. Like you; i am a software engineer and as you know; that means sitting a lot. Even thought i go to the gym about 5 times/ week; i wasn't very much motivated to do a lot of movements. I would lift weights instead. So, last december i decide to buy the Surge! I did set up a goal to loose 25 lbs in 4 months. I am 36 yr old male, 6' 3" and weighed 250 lbs as of Jan 1, 2015. As of today, i weigh 225 lbs; YES, i have lost 25 lbs.
Like i said in the beginning; you're on the right track. Just set your goal and the charge will push you towards it!

Cheers!
