I just thought I would share this story.
I was in SF for a meeting back in august and I downloaded pokemon go due to peer pressure.
To my surprise, I hit my step goal every single day since that night. It didn't matter if I was in Europe, Asia or even Australia. It didn't even matter if I was on a 17 hour flight or chilling in an airport.
I stopped playing in the middle of november, and I have not hit my goal until last night.
I think that's a sign that I should get back to it:)
That's all I have to say.

Kids? I guess only us judgy americans would come up with such a comment:)
I'm not sure where all the "kids" are, but I'd say more than half of the people I see playing aren't kids. Compared to some of the other areas, we definitely have more kids playing here.
I'd have to admit that I was surprised when I saw just about everyone playing as I walked through the streets in europe. I'm sure that's an exaggeration, but that's how it felt. I even snapped a photo of a botanical garden capturing every single age group in one shot. There are definitely more grandmas in upper age group, I guess ladies just have longer life expectancy.
So yeah, I have heard all the joke about it dying. The fact is, some people like me will get lazy at some point and give up. But these guys are actually making more money than ever.....and I haven't even given them a single penny:-D
It IS cold out....brrrrrrrrr, but I'm going to make it a point to restart a new streak.
Happy stepping, all!

There was an article in my local newpaper a while ago. They had a pub crawl and all the pictures show people about my age sitting around drinking beer and there must of been a poke stop near by as they all had thier phones in thier faces getting pokeballs.
Well Kids cant get into bars anyways.

When the Poke craze first started my son and his friends would be out walking everywhere for hours. The kids would come home exhausted. I agree with Wendy, whatever gets you moving is a good thing. Go get em!

You know you can't fix stupid:)
I almost walked into a lamp post once and realized I have just joined the rank of the stupid.....
The game is not the problem. People are.
With that said, it's very simple, just follow everyday rules and etiquettes....and ignore judgy people.
I travel a lot and when I don't travel, I work from home. Even my treadmill workstation isn't enough activity for me. I can definitely use any excuse to move around and get some fresh air. I have 0 pokemon around. The closest is a good 1km walk, so that's more than 2000 steps there and back.
