Pregnancy.

Hi! A little about me. I am a food addict, My entire life all I knew was how to be lazy and eat. But having my son changed my life. Being a child of over weight parents myself, I seen myself becoming my worst nightmare, My Mother. I was 29yrs old and weighed 442lbs. I could hardly do anything. Even took care of my housework by sitting in a chair with wheels. The constant back pain was miserable. I started eating healthy and slowly eased into exercise. Lost 175lbs an was the strongest i had ever been. at 267lbs i was training for my first 5k. Color me Rad. My son and I. Then I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant and it became too hot for out door exercise. My first trimester had me tired an sick and along came all those bad habits. Now in my 2nd trimester. My Doctor suggest I join a gym. Weight training. No more than 20lbs. Now finally to why I'm here. lol What are safe exercises preformed with dumb bells, kettleballs and strength bands. I so hope you fitbitters help me.

Most gyms will offer a 1 day free trainer  session.  You should check that out first. As you need to do it the proper way so you do not get hurt.

Congratulations on your progress and your pregnancy!

I agree with Wendy. Go to a gym and talk to a trainer. Usually you can get the first session free. They can tell you what to do and how to do it.

Good luck and keep us posted!

I suggest you make an appointment with a trainer. A list of exercises won't help as there are safe and unsafe ways to perform them.

Just so you know, lifting weights does tone the muscles, but it doesn't burn many calories. There may be a reason your doctor wants you to tone specific muscles for the delivery.

If you have a Planet Fitness close to you, I suggest joining them. They have free trainers who can be great. They also cater to people of all sizes.
