Rebounding on the Cellercise. does anyone else use rebounder like an elliptical?

I have an Inspire Fitbit. And just recently purchased a Cellercise rebounder as it has been a trying year with getting out and about due to sinus issues. I find that as I pump my legs up and down on the mat like I would on an elliptical, it does count steps; and it also counts steps when I sit down and bounce on the mat as well. I finally found something that I can do indoors when allergies and weather is not permitting.

@blazingsword -- a rebounder is a great way to get exercise when you can't get out and yes, fitbit will generally count those bounces as steps giving you are way to measure your progress over time.  I sometimes use mine in the evenings as an exercise snack while watching TV.  More fun that stepping in place as a reason to get off the couch during commercials.
