How do you set the app to record distance etc when using a stationary bike? I did this and it shows no miles (of course) and no mph... Thanks, Bob

To manually log the bike
Computer: on the Activities page search for bike and it will come up with what you need to add
Phone: Same search for bike and add what ever you bike said

Welcome to the forums!
Sorry you cant. Biking is not step based. You are also not really going any distance.
So I manually log my bike to what ever the bike tells me
Hope to see you around!

The only way to add distance to a spinning record is to manually add it.
When using the tracker GPS will not work because the user isn't moving and the tracker can not measure made up virtual distance.

Hello Rich:
Separate question--how do you turn the GPS tracker on? Apparently I had it on when I was walking but today after my walk the exercise doesn't show the map etc...thank you Bob
P.S. In "settings" it says the GPS is "on".

The location of the GPS setting would depend on which tracker you have.
Instructions will be in your user manual, or Fitbit's online interactive, searchable Help Docs.
