Hi again everyone, I've been out of Fit Bit circulation for a while, you could say. I am back home recovering from surgery. I'll dismiss all the gory details, but I just want to say, Iam back and on the mend! I am on my 5th day of recovery and feeling good. The only exercise that I am able to do is walking (steps) everyday. Thanks to my fit bit I am able to record my progress. Eating, activity, sleeping, etc. Diet is the big One. Thanks to fit bit I can see the progress that I am making. See, Fit Bit does have its advantages, this I am grateful.

@mvega Be sure not to overdo things, but I'm sure you're glad to be back to stepping.
Continue to heal and recover!

Hi Michael
I had two surgeries last year early Jan 2013 & late Feb 2013 which were both quite major ones. I walked between them, and was starting back running again after the 2nd one.
One year has passsed and I am back running 10 km again and doing about 40 km a week.
The step for me has been slow, small incremental increases and to not do too much at once. I do a lot of stretching and I found that helped with recovering strength from surgery
Good luck mate
