Resting HR decreasing

Hello!

I've recently started a diet and hit my 11th day of achieving 10k + steps a day. I've also noticed my resting HR is decreasing. Is this a good thing?

I've always thought my resting heart rate was high. I used to have a resting heart rate of 81 - 83 at it's highest. In the last 13 days it's gone from 77 to 65. Each day is a decrease.

I've also been incredibly stressed at work so I thought somehow my resting HR might reflect that but it's decreasing instead.

Thanks!

Hello & welcome @kimmi_baby

Congratulations! It sounds like you're doing a great job of improving your health, physically and cardio-wise.

Stress will impact your heart rate, especially in the moment, but not necessarily your resting heart rate.

Keep up the great work and please come back to share your updates.
