Seated walking

I sometimes find it hard to walk, so i have been sitting down on a chair and lifting my legs, will i lose weight that way too? Also why doesn't the timer pick up that i have in fact done walking?

Hi, @potentbea! Any motion you do with your body will burn calories, so in theory, yes, you can lose weight this way. It obviously depends on a lot of factors, including calories in vs. out, level of activity, etc. As for why your tracker doesn't register it, well, it's on your wrist and you're sitting down. If you attached it to your leg, it would register it. You would likely see an elevated heart rate while wearing it on your wrist, depending on how vigorous your activity was, though.
