Sendig back my force! Does anyone know when the new one will be release?

I would like to know when the new force will be release? I am sending mine back and don't want to be without one. I hate the idea of going to a different brand.

Since the recall is barely a week old and it takes time to get a new product ready for market, it could be some time before FitBit is ready to announce their next generation of tracker. I'd think they would be putting it on their news (blog) area of the forum.

You consider a Flex? I have one and it's almost the same as the Force. It does have interchangeable bands.

If you are not having problems with your Force, why would you return it? I am keeping mine, because as you say, I am not willing to be without it. The Flex is OK, but has less functionality. A friend was not able to get the Force after the recall and is going with the Flex but it is a change. I have no dermatitis issues and feel pretty sure this will not be an issue for me.

I haven't had any problems with my Force either. I considered returning mine, but since I haven't had any problems with it I've decided to keep it. If I knew that there was a release date soon for the next generation Force, I might consider returning it, but without that info, I'd hate to go without my Force in the meantime or have to switch to the Flex.

One thing I hope they diecide to do with the new Force is to somehow have changable band colors. Not really a big deal, but it would be nice to have some options.

I'm not an athelete in the least, but I like to track my movement at work (I'm on my feet the whole time) and I like to keep track of my stair climbing. I got a hip replacement a few months ago, and my Force has been a nice part of my recovery and increased activity. (Thanks!)

I don't have any issue with the force either, but was concerned about replacement cords and such in the future.
