Slow website and lack of options

Hi.

I choose this option before sending en email. Im hoping some staff from fitbit is watching posts on the community regualary?!

The page (www.fitbit.com) is extremley slow in southern Sweden. It would be great if you would be able to fix this. Also it would be nice with more options to add completed "workouts", like gardening. Just as you can choose walking, wich I use to register when I arrive from work, I cant wear the fitbit flex on work so I register it by your timefunction instead, ex work 8h = walking 5h moderate, at work.

I also saw that there are not much food to add, like Gulach soup or köttbullar AKA meatballs in english. Cant you borrow the Swedish food register from Fatsecret.se (fatsecret.com)? 😉

Maybe contact the fatsecret.com website people and ask them to get their site to link to fitbit. In the US we have a website called myfitnesspal and it links with fitbit. Myfitnesspal has a MUCH better food data base so I just log from there and it immediately syncs to fitbit and goes into my food log. Have you checked with your internet provider to see why fitbit loads so slowly? Maybe it is something they can do to help. On my fitbit dashboard (not the app but on the computer) I can log activities and create custom activities. I think this is what you are wanting to do. From the dashboard go to 'log' on top and then choose 'activities' and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says 'log activities' and type in 'gardening' in the box. When I do this I get several options: gardening with heavy power tools, gardening in general and walking gathering gardening tools' I can also enter a custom activity that I create on my own. I don't use the app so I don't know if it does any of this, but on my computer I can do all of this.

I should look into that activity log when the dashborads finally load in like 10 min 🙂

All other sites work fine and I use computers on daily basis so im pretty familiar with them. I think the problem is that the site is hosted in the US only. If not they have to slow BW or HW for the site to function. If they do not have an co-location in europe fitbit.com should really get it.

I will email fatsecret.com and ask them for the linking part you talked about. Thankyou very much. U get a vote on this post from me 🙂
