How do I calculate calories burned on older stationary bike? 🚴

You don't have to calculate calories.  If it gets recorded as an exercise session, Fitbit calculates calories for you, based on heart rate, assuming you have a tracker with heart rate.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Ok, so I need to go shopping...either for a new bike that has burns
calories feature or the Fitbit w/ HR. Thanks for your help!

Manually enter it. It will give you calorie burn. Mine has been pretty accurate to what my bike says

So no you dont need to go buy a new fitbit or bike

If you weigh between 170 to 200 pounds, you would burn between 4.9 to 5.8 calories per  minute at 5.5 miles per hour  and between 7.7 to 9.9 calories  at 9.5 miles per hour . For example, if you weight 100 pounds and you bike at 5.5 miles per hour for 30 minutes, you multiply 2.8 by 30 which equals to 84 calories

try downloading the Fitbit app

I'm hopeless, is there a step-by-step list for how to calculate calories on an older stationary bike? Do I  my fitbit on exercise first or just start pedalling?
