Steps= miles

My stride is 24" so  2600 steps should be about 1 mile..   But my dashboard says I have 7000 steps  and 3 miles.  Why?

@HopeChris, have you checked the settings in your Profile to verify that your stride length is set to 24"?  If the tracker is calculating 7,000 steps as 3 miles, that indicates the tracker is set to a stride length of 27", not 24".

yes i did check. It is set for 24".
