Stretching for Cycling.

Hey Fitbit Community.

I am looking for some really good stretches or some kind of exercise or something for my butt!!

I want to start doing longer bike rides and just this past Saturday i did 31km's and it went pretty good. I have a goal set for 50Km by the end of this very short northern Canadian summer.  I found a pace that works for me that get's my heart rate up and i can feel my body working.

However, lol.....

When i got home and got off my bike i just about collapsed from the shooting pains in what i want to say might be my Gluteus Minimum or Obturator Internus? I'm not a doctor nor will even pretend to know what i am talking about, but looking at muscle diagrams and trying to pinpoint the area of the pain i feel like those two muscles may be the likely suspects.

I could barely walk for about 2 hours so i would love to know some good daily routine stretches and pre-ride stretches for any muscles in that butt area. Just something to maybe lessen that crippling pain when i am done.

I was super stoked at how easy the ride seemed to be only be incredibly deflated simply by stepping off my bike and almost ragdoll-ing to my garage floor. 🤣

I did some googling and the consensus i got was that the biggest answer to the butt pain problem is linked to the type of bicycle seat you are using or its adjustment.

Cool. thanks for googling.

I did some youtubing and there are some good stretches on there i have tried and can definitely feel. They just don't seem to target the area i was feeling the most pain in on the weekend. But perhaps if i spend the next fe days working those stretches into my daily activity i may notice a difference.

Thanks kindly for your help.
