I’m a student working on a design research project about the Fitbit community — exploring how people use Fitbit to stay motivated, connected, and healthy.

I’m looking to interview a few Fitbit users (about 10–15 minutes each) to better understand your experiences — what you love, what’s challenging, and what you wish were different.

It would be helpful to know what school you attend and why you're conducting this research. What's the goal?

I go to CSU Channel Islands. I am a computer science major, and this is my last year at CI. We are doing a semester of interviews with communities to see if there's a problem in that community that can be solved. Next semester, we will actually pinpoint a solution and create it. So I decided to make my project on the Fitbit community to see if the Fitbit app is helping customers achieve their health goals, or if there is something (like another app) I can create to help these users.

@MariluMartinez that sounds like an interesting project and this is an interesting time for it too! I'm not sure if you're aware, but Google has announced a major redesign of the Fitbit app in the coming months.
