Did you mean:

Sweaty eyes!

Anyone else have a problem with (or preferably a solution for) sweaty eyes?

I don't mean that my eyes themselves sweat, that would be really weird! I just find that when I'm running, the sweat from my bald head is fairly copious. It then runs down my forehead and collects in my more than ample eyebrows.

Being rather bushy, my eyebrows seem to hold back the sweat for a reasonable time, but then when they reach some critical mass, they all at once dump their salty cargo in to my eyes. It's like someone has unleashed the Atlantic Ocean into my face in one sudden hit of saline!

I perhaps exaggerate a little to illustrate a point, but you get the impression.

Any ideas?

Headband? I think i've seen them in running shops maybe.

I just bought some old fashioned sweat bands for my wrists to wipe my forehead with when running. I didn't want a headband.

Thanks Bill,

That's a perfectly sensible suggestion. I should've mentioned when I posed the question that I've tried headbands and they never seem to stay on!

Perhaps it's my highly polished dome, but they just slide up and off!

If a headband slides off, staple it on try a baseball cap.

I have the same issue although I am less bald and less bushy eyed. I have a small towel with me at all times to wipe my face.

I use, and highly recommend a runner's cap that has a terry or coolmax brim sewn inside. It works beautifully.

The best one is HAT. Not only for sweating, It would prevent from getting sun burn during hot days. I wear hat in spring and summer. In winter, it would be toque.

Give it a try.
