I fought my way back up to #4 on my friend's list last week, and now I look and I'm back down to #11. I gotta get more sedentary friends, LOL!!!!!

The number of people averaging over 20k steps a week appears to have skyrocketed from two years ago. Perhaps this is an indication that the Fitbit population has increased dramatically and the high steppers are more noticable.

@Marcy - Makes sense. I've only had a few 20K+ days. NO way I can do that every day. But hey, they do keep me movtivated, so I'm not complaining. I just hate being so far down in my Friend's' List. 😞

@yldthng: if you are worried about being an "underachiever" (when seeing all these friends averaging 20k+), I'd suggest you start the free Premium trial. It will let you benchmark yourself against your peers, which will give you a much more realistic picture than the very small sample of your friends. You will see that 20k+ steppers are a really tiny minority among the entire population of Fitbit users.
I also used to be among the top five steppers in my friends' list. That was 1-1.5 years ago. Now, with more or less the same step count, I'm anywhere between #15 and #30. That doesn't bother me.

I'm #37 on my friends list if that makes you feel any better. 😉
