Tips for getting use to the adrenaline rush from Gym

I've been hitting the gym 5 days a week since September but I still haven't gotten use to the intense feeling from working out ( heart beating too fast, breathing deeply, etc). I've weaseled my way out of physical activity during high school, so it's been a while since I felt like this (tbh I didn't like it back then either).

Any tips on how someone who's new to exercise can get use to this feeling?

Hi @TearieIs,

I've found any of the following to be helpful:

1.Be patient and let your body adjust. When cardio gets better, recovering from these rushes gets better.

2. Take longer rests between sets.

3. Take a walk afterwards to burn off the excess adreneline (which will help with cardio).
