Using Fitbit with Insanity Workouts

Hi everyone.  New to the Fitbit and Fitbit community - look forward to exchanging ideas, moving forward.  I finished the first month of Insanity prior to the holiday and am planning on repeating in the new year before moving the month 2. 

 

Does anyone have experince using the Fitbit with Insanity workouts and if so, any tips before I dive into it?

It will pick up some steps. But Fitbit is not a Heart Rate Monitor. I wear and HRM  and Manually log these types of exercises
