After having wore my fitbit on my wrist as instructed, and assuming it was accurate for quite sometime, I came to find out that it is completely inaccurate as I apparently do not swing my arms enough while walking for it to catch all the steps!  I now wear it on my ankle, don't miss a step count or the correct number of miles. I have checked it to be sure of it's accuracy now several times, by re-driving my walking route with my car, having the odometer set to start at zero.  🙂
Fitbit needs to make an ankle strap for the bit  to slip into, but.......the large band fits my ankle perfectly, so all is well!!!!  Just thought I'd share incase their are others who have noticed that they are only being credited for half their walk!! 🙂
Have a blessed day, y'all!!!

Here is what i use for my ankle, works fantastic. It has a little pouch you put it in and the snaps are strong.

I would feel like I was wearing an ankle monitor from a very posh prison if I did that. 😉
Maybe, I'll try it when I pedal, though. Then, I'll rename my Fitbit 'The Green Mile'....

I have been wearing my Inspire HR on my ankle for a couple of days. I am using the B Great ankle band someone recommended. One thing I've noticed is that I don't feel the vibration for my alarms or my notifications while wearing it on my ankle. Has anyone else noticed this?

I noticed the same thing with the 3. As I push a wheelchair and carry things alot. I noticed that when I put it on my ankle, that when I drive it picks up steps. Lol

I bought the B-Great ankle strap that someone recommended a couple months ago and have been using it ever since with my Inspire fitbit. The B-Great ankle strap works great for me to capture all the information I want; mostly the number of steps in a day that I walk. I like using the B-Great ankle strap better than wearing the Inspire Fitbit bracelet on the wrist. I forget it's there most of the time.

Thanks for this. I recently started doing Peleton and there is no arm movement but tons of leg work. A 1/2 hour session only registered 500 steps when in reality I was doing more than 3000. I am now using it on my ankle with more accurate results.

@Csrich
Have you tried putting it on the left ankle? Unless you drive a stick shift, I would think using the opposing ankle will take out the movements from brake pedal to gas pedal.
