Hello everyone. Ive had my Fitbit for three weeks now and i'm loving it. I've been enjoying going on my daily evening walks and seeing all the stats when i arrive home. However, over the past few days it doesn't seem to be working on the app on my android. I keep selecting the 'walk' option and it keeps automatically setting it to 'run'. It's been working fine up until now. Any thoughts as to what may be happening with it? Any advise would be really helpful 🙂

hey there @Arty12.. I am not sure why it is changing it, but you can edit it back to walk in the app on your phone by clicking on the activity and using the edit pencil. You may also want to try to do a walk without choosing the activity and seeing what your tracker will auto detect...

Hi, I have the exact same problem which seems to be common and happening in the last few days? I've had my Charge2 about 8 weeks. I'm 75 years old and, these days, couldn't run if I tried!
On Android, I tap on today's "run" and it then offers me 3 choices. MAP. SPLITS. HEART RATE. Nowhere is a tick.
On PC, I can see a list of my activities and a few entries do offer a tick. But not these latest false RUN entries. Any further insights would be much appreciated! I am finding getting help a nightmare!

I'm having the exact same problem. But I dont have an edit pencil on my app? It will not allow me to go back and change it from run to walk.

My tracker is doing the same thing. It has been saying I do daily runs for over a week. When I purposely select walk, it switches back to run. I cant see any edit on my Android app to be able to change it.
