To get the first question out of the way, I'm assuming all of these "Fitbit Activities" are identical. No?
For people who are wanting to use our Fitbit/Pixel Watch to track resistance training I'd like to work together to figure out best practices for doing this. I see the new personal health coach powered by Gemini is coming and it seems to offer full workouts to users, so that's still TBD.
Currently, I have used some other apps "Hevy" and "Garmin" to create a structured workout. It has me warm up, do some sets and reps of a specific action (for instance - Bench Press, 65lbs, 3 sets, 8 reps) and then another and then another. It tracks it all, and I can go back and review it and make edits as needed.
People have many different needs and techniques, and I know old heads like to bring up their paper and pencils to track, but hey...it's 2025 and perhaps this stuff can be equally effective or better, if it can be made usable.
There are two things I hope I'll be able to do with Fitbit and resistance training.
