What Fitbit devices can track open water swimming?

I'm looking to buy my first fitbit. I would like something that can track open water swimming. Which models would be suitable for this? I would prefer a tracker e.g. charge or luxe rather than smartwatch versions due to the smaller size. Thank you for your help.

Thanks, I had looked at that but it didn't specifically ask which sports it would be used for. I have heard some trackers/smartwatches only count pool laps, whereas others can also track open water, but I can't find which category fitbits fall in to. The quiz didn't actually ask which activities it would be used for so I'm still not entirely confident of the results.

@Eisbaerx Fitbit devices don't support open water swimming. No device meets this criteria.

@Eisbaerx Welcome to the Community Forums. @Odyssey13 and @t.parker It's good to see you here and thanks for your help.

@Eisbaerx Thanks for your interest in our Fitbit devices and your feedback about the Find your Fit quiz. As you may know, we have different devices that are water-resistant to 50 meters and some of them can automatically track your swim activities, while others have the Exercise app to manually start and stop the tracking. To find more details, check this help article.

In regards to your other question, while our Fitbit devices don't support open water, you may still see an estimated number of lengths when swimming.

Our Fitbit app has an open water function and tracks your distance. It is available for Sense and Versa 3.
