What are you favorite supplements for recovery after a weight workout?

I lift weights and love it.  What are the best recovery supplements?  Do you have a favorite pre that doesn't cause the jitters?

I use Advocare stuff, they are endorsed by many professional athletes. The Reydrate drink is a non sugar Gatorade type. I also use the VO2 Prime Bar and O2 to increase my intensity. I love them and get great results with them.

I think they're a waste of money. Just good old fashion protein from real foods for me.

Yes I use E&E (Energy and Endurance) for my pre workout and for my post workout I use Results & Recovery Formula. They are both made by Beachbody the creators of P90X and Insanity. They are the only products I will use because they are all natural and don't have any chemicals or harmful ingredients. I also drink Shakeology everyday it gives me all the nutrition I need and tons of other benefits. If you would like to chat sometime drop me a message. You can find more info here if you thing this is something you would like to try. http://www.beachbodycoach.com/heatherfrancis1

I use AdvoCare as well, their meal replacement shakes are amazing. I liked it so much I became a distributor. Here is a link to my site. https://www.advocare.com/120820256/default.aspx

If you have any questions let me know.

I'm not real into supplements or meal replacements but do boost my protein intake on my heavy personal training days (wgt/strength training / CrossFit, etc) I use Special K's protein water mix during my workout, another one post (24oz bottle x2) and have a pure protein bar post. For pre, oatmeal and make sure I am well hydrated

I just eat a greek yogurt with some granola mixed into it... no supplements needed.

Creatine prior to and after my workouts. On non-workout days creatine in the morning.  Some protein supplementation and a multi-vitamin.
