What are your Exercise Metrics, and why?

I think we all look at exercise and exercise goals a little differently. Some folks exercise to burn calories, and lose weight; others exercise for better health; etc. Why do you exercise?

For me, I exercise primarily for health in the long run, and the most important metrics are time spent and heart rate. What about you?

Active: Charge 5, Blaze
Retired: Charge HR, Versa

I exercise to maintain health and mobility.  The most important metric in Active Zone Minutes because I can relate them to the HHS Physical Activity Guidelines.  The Fitbit Zones are congruent to the PAG recommendations.  https://health.gov/our-work/nutrition-physical-activity/physical-activity-guidelines/current-guideli...
