Hi everyone!
I’ve just recently got back into running and have been going to the gym more regularly now. While doing this I’m studying a User Experience (UX) Design course, where my project problem is about people’s commitment and motivation for fitness.
I would really appreciate it if you could spend a few minutes of your time to complete a short survey to gain insights into what the wider community's experiences are like in health and fitness -https://cindy892806.typeform.com/to/L9skxx.
Thanks to those who have completed my survey 😊

Hi @Cindy_C95!
Running is a great activity, one that I've always wanted to practice regularly, but what I really enjoy the most is swimming.
Just filled your survey as well, good luck with your study! 🤓

Thanks, @DavideFitbit for your feedback! I find running easy to do early in the morning before doing anything else. Yes, I'd love to do swimming too, but where I'm located is quite an inconvenience.

Thanks @cathm for taking the time to do my survey 🙂 Out of curiosity, how did you start to maintain consistency in your fitness journey?

For decades I have walked on my treadmill at home every day for 40 minutes. Your survey didn't really apply to that. I read the newspaper while I walk first thing every morning. If I read anywhere else like on the sofa I fee guilty for wasted time. I am 77 I have no chronic health problems and take no prescriptions for chronic problems like blood pressure or sugar or cholesterol etc. I am probably at least average fitness for a person my age. Even if this didn't really fit me you have another survey filled out. Best wishes. (I don't go to gyms because the travel time is wasted and I don't walk outdoors because I live in hot humid subtropical Houston Texas. Indoors I have air-conditioning, a big fan, fast music, perfect weather, a drink and a handy bathroom.

That's great that you have the convenience of your own home to exercise in @Glenda given where you live. I hadn't really thought of those that exercise at home and also have the equipment to use for working out. I wish I had a home gym too! haha. Anyways, thanks for completing the survey for me 🙂

Just taken your survey. It helps to have a reason to work out (walking our dog) but my disability means I can't walk very far and definitely can't leave the street I live in. I would feel embarrassed walking up and down the street alone without our dog at the other end of the lead lol

No problem @Cindy_C95! Yes definitely, location is one of the main challenges for swimming, I wish it was easier to find a nice place nearby and that's opened all year round. 🦈
