What's the one song that motivates you?

I have that one song. You have that one song. We all have that one song. Some people have more than one song (that's okay!). What is the one song that gets you fired up?

For me, if I'm diggin' some alternative, it's Sleigh Bells' "Infinity Guitars." If I need to hear some nice hip-hop to get my workout going, my go-to is Kanye West's "Power."  If I need some EDM in my life, I go with this amended version of Lana Del Ray's "Summertime Sadness." As far as song in movies go, John William's composition of "Battle of the Heroes" does it for me!

As a bonus, my good friend @GraceFitbit reminded me how good the year 2005 was, and went with Beyoncé's Crazy In Love .

Above all else, there is the one song that gets me ready to work hard and reach for the improbable. It is one of the most popular songs in the history of the world, and universally one of the most motivating. I am speaking, of course of Ludwig Van Beethoven's "5th Symphony in C Minor."

Now that you have an idea of what songs get our blood ready to flow and our hearts ready to race, we have to know- what song motivates you?

I enjoy a broad range of music. Josh Groban is definitely a favor.  Hells Bells by AC DC, Guns and Roses....Sweet Child of Mine.  Mick Jagger, Lionel Richie, ZZ Top, Yanni ...One Man's Dream, anything Motown.  Beyonce's Single Ladies. Melissa Etheridge,  and  sometimes alittle country. Clint Black, Alabama, Toby Keith, and everything in between depending on the mood.

my favorite song that motivates me has got to be either 'space cowboy' by jamiroquai or 'boogie wonderland' by earth wind and fire. it always manages to keep me motivated at the gym

Don't know any songs that you listed until you got to the end with Beyonce and Beethoven. I don't listen to much in the way of secular music any more. A lot of The Beatles songs are still a good in my book (though I was born the year they "invaded America".

The song that truly gets me fired up now days is Matt Maher - Because He Lives (Amen). Another that will encourage me is Oleta Adams - Breath of Heaven. I have many favorites but this one speaks to my hear because of many things going on in our nation, DC Talk - Colored People.

For a good cool down this classical piece is my favorite Pachebel's Canon in D - London Symphony Orchestra. For some reason this music reminds me of the Angels Accending and Decending the Ladder that Jacob say as he was running from his brother Esau.
