This is a bit of an odd circumstance, really, but I'm not complaining! I've been focusing more heavily on walking/running/legs to prepare for a 10k and half marathon later in the year, and while I've lost waist, I've actually gained weight! >.< Not the best to see on the scale, but when I was trying to find a new pair of jeans, it seemed impossible! They are incredibly tight in the leg/thigh area, but the waist is so loose that I have to wear a belt, which is fine, but I have to tighten it to the point of the dreaded "camel toe." Ick. Do any of you lovely FitBitters have any jeans preferences? ![]()

I get my jeans from Old Navy most of the time. They have a few styles on jeans and I find that the style for "the most curvy" women works well for me. They have more room in the the thighs and smaller in the waist.

@MRose My favorite store is Lane Bryant, they have a great brand for sports clothing, with comfortable and forgiving fabrics. I bought a bunch of yoga pants and running pants and they are super comfy.

Buying jeans has always been a problem for me, but for the opposite reason. I have a thick waist, and narrow thighs. I was quite happy when the skinny jeans trend arrived, I no longer had the thighs of my jeans flapping in the wind. ![]()
Best AnswerAlthough I am way past the "teen" years, I have found that Rue21 has great jeans. They are sometimes a bit trendy for me but I can pick through them and find some. They have some in the "stretch" material, NOT the "jegging" style. They are not super tight and not constricting feeling.

I hate jeans but Kohl's had jeggings that were actually really nice. They looked like jeans and felt similar to jeans, even had pockets like jeans but the fabric was more forgiving and wayyy more comfortable.
Not sure if they still have them though, they were in the teen department and I haven't shopped for pants in a long time as I wear a uniform to work.

Best AnswerCongrats on your progress! 💪🏽 It's totally normal to see some weight gain when building muscle, especially in the legs with all that running! Finding the right jeans for an athletic build can definitely be tricky. You might want to check out brands that cater to athletic or curvy fits—they offer more room in the thighs while keeping the waist snug.
