Which fitbit should I buy for lap/ split running times?

I currently have charge 2 but I'm looking to buy a Fitbit as a gift for somebody who does a lot of outdoor running.  As I understand, you cannot record split and lap times on the charge 2.  Please could somebody advise me which Fitbit I should buy so that they could do this? 

 

Sorry if the answer is already posted somewhere, just looking for some recommendations.

Hi @Catherinebx Welcome to the forum. My recommendation would be the Ionic or Versa. Both are great for lap/split running and are waterproof. Functionality difference is the Ionic has build in GPS, so you use GPS on a run without bringing your phone with you. The other difference is in the style and size. Ionic is a bit larger than the Versa, but will still work for a woman as well as a man. Happy to answer any additional questions you might have.
