Hi everyone!
There are many advantages that come with having a Food Plan, at the same time that you exercise. What we omit from out diet is just as important as the daily physical activity.
That's why is so important to keep a food diary that lists every single calorie that we consume. This will make our choices abundantly clear and highlight any areas that need improvement.
It'd be great to read what other Community members think of this and what has been their experience, whether it's for weigh loss or different goals. Feel free to share your experience.

I agree about the importance of food plans, @DavideFitbit. My breakfasts and lunches are always one of a couple options so I do not log those. Breakfast: an Atkins Meal Bar or 1 1/2 oz mixed, unsalted nuts. Lunch: Fresh veggies with hummus or cottage cheese. This leaves dinner, which I log. The plan is for a protein (fish, chicken, etc.) fresh or cooked veggies and a piece of fruit for dessert. This plan has kept my weight stable for over a year. Yes, there are occasional treats but they are exactly that … occasional treats.

I initially joined Noom. But quickly realized it was the food logging that was making the difference. So I quit Noom and started tracking with my FitBit. The food logging has been eye opening. Still a great tragedy of my life that my Adam's peanut butter is 100 calories per tbsp.
I've been working out for years, but it was when I start tracking my food that the weight started to come off.
I've lost 20 pounds so far - thank you FitBit!

Thanks for sharing your experience, @ThumbedCat!
When I started logging my food it was eye opening for me as well. I didn't realize the amount of calories you can easily consume with just a snack here and there and how hard it is to actually burn a substantial amount of calories. Fitbit helped to change my habits. 😀
