Why doesn't ballet count?

ANSWERED

Apparently, ballet classes don't count as fitness.  I did three classes yesterday  - 3 hours - and my fitbit didn't register any of it. Same for my class today 😞

not on fitbit, at least not that I know of

but you could always create the exercise in myfitnesspal, say 1 minute 50 calories, and then manually add and adjust the minutes as required

then that way you will still have the correct calorie burn/remaining for the day

or you could try attaching/wearing the fitbit on your ankle

Hi @Jo2868,

As to your question, the answer depends on which fitbit tracker we are talking about. Which one do you have?

Work out...eat... sleep...repeat!

add the calories burnt manually

if you go to the myfitnesspal website and search for ballet, you will find an entry, you can then put in your weight and the length of time

it'll only be an estimate, but better than nothing right?

Thanks for the tip. I have worked out the number of calories. Is there a
way to add them manually to the day's total on fitbit? Also, to add the
number of minutes of activity?
