Why isn't my flex 2 saving my mapped walk to recent ??? More than half the time my GPS is not saved

I used the GPS tracker, as usual, with my fit bit flex 2 to map my walk this morning. When I got home the full map was visible and showed that I had walked 7.34 miles! 
I again went to recent ex and it shows NOTHING!!! 
The fitbit app and the webiste both show that I have walked over 7 miles today and show my step count, but the map is NOT THERE?!!! 
Anyone know why???

Did you use "pause"? There is a known problem where using pause prevents saving the map.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
