can't really fit a class into my schedule. Did a couple tai chi classes in the past and loved it. Had back surgery 4 months ago, so I need to start slow - beginner should work for me at this stage. Any suggestions?

How about '5 Day Fit Chi' by Gaiam. It has 5 different workouts on it. I got it at Barnes and Noble, so I guess you can check it out there or the Gaiam website to se if it may be something you like. I thought it seemed good for a beginner since I had no previous experience with Tai Chi and I liked the fact that there were 5 workouts to choose from. Let us know what you wind up with and how you like it.

Try your local library; they have a good assortment of DVDs for Tai Chi. I live in DE and learned Tai Chi in my livingroom thanks to the Library and DVD they were instrumental in helping me to walk again. Good luck and enjoy!

I see you posted last year and I hope you have found a DVD that is teaching you Tai Chi. If not I would suggest Dr. Paul Lam of the Tai Chi (http://usa.taichiproductions.com/#locUnitedStates) I learned Tai Chi for Arthritis from his DVD and was certified to teach by attending a class. Since then I have learned the 24 Form, 42 Compitition Form and the 32 Sword Form from his DVD's. I hope you find something that will work for you and bring you good heath.
