As I write this I am sitting in my hotel room in Seattle (here for work, live in NY)
I just got in last night, so I am still on east coast time, but I got up at 4 PAC (7EST) and by 6:30 AM PAC (9:30 EST) I've already gotten a great work out in (exceeded by 10k steps)
its times like this I realize how great getting your workout over and done with in the morning is, and it feels amazing! now im thinking i want to shoot for 30k steps today (since I will be walking around quite a bit today too)
what works for you? and if you're a morning workout person, any tips for getting in the habbit? (when you don't have a 3 hour head start)
happy stepping!

I usually work out at night though on Saturday's I run in the morning.
The best advice is that time of day does not matter as long as you get your work out in.

I prefer a morning workout, but usually life gets in the way so doesn't always happen.
As long as I can move as much as possible each day, I'm happy but the days I can get a morning work out in are the days I usually have a big step day as well.
today i have a day off work and today also is a day my outdoor fitness group have a morning session as well as the usually night sessions, so even though its raining outstide, I'm off to do a great session

I prefer to work out in the morning but it just doesn't happen during the week - but I have found if I work out straight after I finish work - I'm not taking the stress of the office home with me and I'm much happier and relaxed at home! So I might have to keep that up!!

I always workout in the evening -- except on a Sunday. Something about a Sunday makes me set my alarm for 6am to go to the gym.
I can't explain why, but it works for me.
