Hi @Magik_Cloud495 Make sure you always do your 250 steps per hour minimum is a big one. Other than that that take extra steps where you can. Things I did when I was starting out (and mostly continue to do) were put dishes away one at a time, rather than building a stack and then walking to the cupboard once. Same with laundry. When you park at the shops park in the far corner of the carport rather than trying to find the closest park. In a supermarket walk all the aisles, not just the ones you need to go down. Also walk to the end of shopping malls before returning to the shop you want.
Good luck!

One tip: don't be lazy 🙂

Hey there @Magik_Cloud495 - welcome to the community. The best tip is to find reasons and not excuses to move. I walk during my lunch because I can eat while I work, but I can't work while I walk. I also avoid booking my evenings with things to do so I can go to the gym or take another walk. I don't sit and binge watch TV, I walk and watch. When I am cleaning, I will take the long way through my house to get to where I need to be or run the vacuum longer than needed. I never park near an entrance, I park as far away as possible. I am never that person at Christmas circling a spot like a shark. I park in the boonies and walk. Believe me, I have my lazy times - but they are balanced with activity.
