So I gotta ask.
What is the highest step count for a single day using a fitbit?
Just curious.
My current step max is 30,055 in one day.
It took me a hours of walking on that day to get that badge.
I am sure others have higher.
Maybe someone for the fitbit company could post the highest daily step count?
So whats your max step count?
And what did you do to push yourself to get it?

My highest step count for one day was 32,556. I went on a 12 mile hike in Utah. I thought that was pretty good, and it is, but i browsed through some of the activity groups on this board and found people who were routinely going over 45,000 steps a day. Most likely had to do with their jobs. I am happy to average about 14,500 a day as that will keep me on track for my goal of 5,000,000 steps this year.
Btw, I continue to use the Force until its replacement is released.
Cheers!

I came within 200 steps of making 25.000. I work at home so I'm able to move around freely, work standing up, and go for regular walks. I have two routes that I try to walk daily of about an hour each. On days I can't be outside, I try to put the equivalent distance in on my treadmill. My weekday average is around 15,000 steps (that's my daily step goal) but lower on the weekends because I'm working around the house and can't go for my walks. Weekends will probably trend up a bit once it gets warmer out since I'll be outside mowing the lawn and doing yard work.

I started a Wisconsinite Daily challenge and during one of those daily challenges I managed 40553 steps.
My new high for one day.
I am sure I could do more but other things get in the way.
I still want to just take 1 day and walk as far as I can.

I have been using Fitbit for 3 weeks. My highest step count is 20,000. It was a struggle to get that. I usually average 14,000-16,000 a day. On my feet most of the day at my job and taking daily walks is how I do it.

Haha! I went on a hike and managed 35,000 steps and I felt the same....I never knew I had muscles that could hurt back there.

My average is 20k max since I'm following the Premium Trainer program. Currently it's 3,200 calories to burn daily.

31 026 steps. Don't remember exactly what I did that day. Probably went to work where I pace back and forth on an assembly line and did a long hike after. Even if Fitbit did post the most steps a person got in a day, I wouldn't trust it. There are people who cheat at it by attatching their Fitbit to their dog's collar. :s People with 100k+ steps in a single day.
