how can i target my average activity level over time?

Is there any way I can monitor my average activity levels over a month, quarter, year? Could Fitbit add that to the activity charts? A nice line graph would be great.

@john1aIts not the best but if you click on your Log, Activities and click the tabs All, Year etc you can see a trend monthly or if a finer date range weekly. If you are in the US or Canada (there is a bug on date selection outside of thoise countries), you can select a date range.  If you select a date range you get the totals under the graph for that time period.

Thanks Colinm39. Just slap a moving average on that and I would be very happy. I think an average activity level as a target is a good doable choice. For now I will calculate it myself from the individual values but it seems easy enough to add some of these capabilities to Fitbit's graphs. Thank you very much for the reply and information!

@john1aDoing it that way you only need to examine it at the end of each period you are looking at and keep it in a spreadsheet. You will notice the bars in most cases are daily averages so your averages will be coarse at the monthly level. Maybe you have to look at weekly averages to show the trends more realistically. If you are getting your Weekly summary report your daily averages are there.

yes, that is what i am doing now, keeping it in a spreadsheet. It just seemed to me Fitbit could address that. Why not upgrade the graphing capability?
