is 50% cardio and 50% fatburn a good workout?

Hey I have only been using my fitbit for 2 days now and today when I got home from my morning walk it said I did 50% fat burn and 50% cardio on my walk. Is this considered a good workout?

Depends really on the purpose of the workout.

 

For some heart health?

Yes if long enough.

 

Recommended 150 min weekly.

 

Also be aware those "zones" are based on a rather rough estimate of HRmax that has better chance of being more than 10 beats off your real level.

 

Which could mean it was even less of a workout for you and not intense enough.

Or it was even harder than the zones appear to say and just fine still.

Think of it as a baseline.  Improvement over the next few weeks could be a little higher percentage of cardio, or the same mix but for a little bit longer.
