G'day we just bought the fitbit flex and aria - they are both great but for us flabby couch potatoes weight is not always the thing.
We use myfitnesspal to monitor our food intake and see the effects on our dashboards BUT as we get more muscular our weight will increase as our "dress size" gets smaller.
For us blokes its important to be under 100 cm and the wife needs to be 80 cm so wonder if a tile for just gut measure would be difficult to add.
regards
peter

if you go to the log section and click on weight. when the graph first pops up its above the graph. The weight is highlighted blue, the body measurment is 4 words over. click that and it lets u add hips, waist etec. also if you go where you put in your weight just below that it says..log other measurments and it lets you add the numbers there

@Ticitytaz @peterseaford There are some features that won't appear in the Dashboard if you created it after September 29, 2014. You were able to log Body Measurements in the Weight part of your Dashboard but if your account is new that feature won't be available.
Additionally, What else can I track on my Fitbit Dashboard?

If you go back to your log there is a place for your weight, once in that screen just click on body measurments. Hope this helps

Like @1stepcloser described... @peterseaford go back to your dashboard, then log and then click weight and the measurements are under the area to document your weight. Please take a few minutes and open all of your tiles to familiarize yourself with your dashboard so that you can document everything. Enjoy your journey!

@peterseaford sorry to hear that they removed that part... I did not know. Currently I don't use mine ... but I had planned on it just for curiosity. The important part with lifestyle changes that I have come to realize during my 59 years on this planet is that it is not the inches or the number on the scale as much as how my clothes feel and the medical lab results. But documenting is helpful. I track my food in MyFitnessPal.com because it is linked with Fitbit. Maybe you can check it out to see if MFP offers you the ability to track your inches. Best of luck to you!

Now MFP will let you enter in any measurements you want, and graph results.
Perhaps some of the better food database apps/sites let you also.
I didn't notice the news it was gone either.
But I guess my lack of using it at all probably shows up that many don't. And if it was slightly buggy, more problems than it's worth so rip it out.
Or fix it and make it premium only eventually.
